The New Orleans Saints reportedly made a head teaching transfer lower than 24 hours after the crew suffered a one-point defeat by the hands of the Carolina Panthers.
The Saints fired Dennis Allen, ESPN reported Monday. The Saints are on a seven-game shedding streak.
Allen is the second head coach to be fired this season, coming weeks after the New York Jets relieved Robert Saleh of his head teaching duties.
The 52-year-old was tapped to take over the crew following the departure of Sean Payton. He guided the Saints to a 9-8 document final season however over the course of two 1/2 years, the crew by no means made the playoffs.
He was 18-25 because the Saints’ head coach.
