President-elect Donald Trump made clear one factor he was no fan of throughout his re-election marketing campaign – the NFL’s new kickoff rule.
Trump reiterated that time once more proper after he praised San Francisco 49ers defensive finish Nick Bosa following the star participant’s sack celebration that gave the impression to be an homage to the previous president.

“The NFL should get rid of the ridiculous new Kickoff Rule!” Trump wrote in a put up on Fact Social.
It was not the primary time Trump had been crucial of the rule. He talked about it as a degree of rivalry when he appeared on the “Let’s Go!” podcast with sportscaster Jim Grey and former New England Patriots head coach Invoice Belichick.
“I will tell you, I watch football now, and I see that kickoff, and it looks weird to me,” Trump mentioned earlier than Election Day. “That thing looks weird, coach. I hope you like it but I think it hurts the game. I think when you have something good, you don’t change it.
“And, I don’t see why it’s safer. Why is it safer? They’re nonetheless crashing. … I checked out that a number of weeks in the past for the primary time and I mentioned, what the hell are they doing to soccer?”
The president-elect talked about the rule once more when he interviewed with OutKick’s Clay Travis throughout the Alabama-Georgia faculty soccer recreation.

“Large time faculty soccer is as large because the NFL,” he said. “I do not know what they’re doing with the kickoff return within the NFL. And I do not need to get entangled in controversy, after all, nevertheless it seems to be so dangerous.
“And I noticed that they hadn’t’ done that in college, and they shouldn’t do it. And I think the NFL should go back. And maybe it is a little bit more dangerous, but I doubt that it’s any more dangerous. It’s football.
“I feel they made a horrible mistake in doing that.”
He wrote about it on Truth Social back in early September as well.
