Georgia made its case for the School Soccer Playoff on Saturday with a 31-17 victory over Tennessee and Kirby Good had a message for the committee.
Within the newest rankings, Georgia was ranked No. 12 and the primary staff on the surface trying in on the bracket. The Bulldogs’ rating got here after a loss to Ole Miss final week. Tennessee got here into Saturday’s matchup ranked because the No. 7 staff within the rankings and can be within the Playoff.

Georgia’s huge win will possible change that.
“I don’t know what they’re looking for. I really don’t,” Good stated of the choice committee, by way of ESPN. “I wish they could really define the criteria. I wish they could do the eyeball test where they come down here and look at the people we’re playing against and look at them.
“You’ll be able to’t see that stuff on TV, and so I do not know what they search for. However that is for anyone else to resolve. I am anxious about our staff.”
ESPN noted that CFP selection committee chairman Warde Manuel, who is also the athletic director at the University of Michigan, said the Bulldogs’ turnovers and offensive woes were the reason why they dropped from No. 3 to No. 12.
Georgia had 453 total yards and no turnovers at home on Saturday.
“They are not in that atmosphere,” Smart said of CFP officials. “They are not at Ole Miss in that atmosphere, enjoying towards that protection, which is high 5 within the nation with top-of-the-line move rushers within the nation, and so they’re fired up. Georgia is 8-2 this season and has UMass and Georgia Tech left on the year. A third loss would surely sink its hopes of making the final bracket.
