A Chinese language nationwide has been sentenced to federal jail for exploiting a little-known loophole in an effort to ferry a dozen unlawful migrants to a U.S. territory.
Zhongli Pang, 36, pleaded responsible to conspiracy to move unlawful immigrants and conspiracy to defraud america after making an attempt to smuggle 12 Chinese language nationals to the territory of Guam, the Division of Justice (DOJ) introduced on Tuesday.
