The federal government of Denmark says it should enhance navy spending within the North Atlantic amid U.S. President Donald Trump’s bid to have Greenland offered or ceded to the US.
Late Monday, the Danish authorities introduced an settlement of 14.6 billion-kroner – or almost $2 billion – with events together with the governments of Greenland and the Faroe Islands to “improve capabilities for surveillance and maintaining sovereignty in the region.”

Frederiksen warned that Europe faces what she known as “a more uncertain reality” and stated her nation can be strengthening its navy presence round Greenland.
