The U.S. Division of Training is launching an investigation into a number of faculty districts in northern Virginia over allegations of refusing to comply with President Donald Trump’s govt order banning gender id insurance policies.
The division’s Workplace for Civil Rights opened an enforcement investigation into the varsity districts, based on Fox 5 DC.
The districts embrace Arlington County Public Faculties, Alexandria Metropolis Public Faculties, Fairfax County Public Faculties, Loudoun County Public Faculties and Prince William County Public Faculties.
This comes after the conservative nonprofit America First Authorized filed a grievance accusing a number of faculties in Virginia of conserving insurance policies selling gender id in place in violation of the president’s mandate.

The grievance argues that the districts are violating Title IX of the upper training act of 1972 that prohibits sex-based discrimination in faculties and Trump’s govt order titled “Ending Racial Indoctrination in K-12 Schools,” which referred to as on some federal businesses to develop a plan to eradicate the “instruction, advancement or promotion of gender ideology or discriminatory equity ideology” in Okay-12 faculties receiving federal funding.
America First Authorized stresses that the federal authorities prohibits “instruction, advancement or promotion of gender ideology” — as talked about in Trump’s order — and argues that permitting organic boys to make use of women’ restrooms and locker rooms is roofed on this language.

The group described the districts named within the grievance as radical and lawless and that the districts would reasonably “deny biology than teach it and one family agrees.”
Arlington Public Faculties stated it stands firmly behind its non-discrimination insurance policies and stays dedicated to offering secure and welcoming faculties for all college students, based on Fox 5 DC. The district stated it follows all federal legal guidelines with respect to Title IX.
Prince William County Public Faculties stated it can “cooperate with the investigation and remains committed to providing a welcoming, nurturing learning environment where all of our students feel safe and supported mentally, physically, and emotionally.”

Alexandria Metropolis Public Faculties stated it “will respond to this investigation in accordance with applicable law.” Loudoun County Public Faculties made an identical assertion.
Fairfax County Public Faculties stated its insurance policies “align with state and federal anti-discrimination laws and binding court precedent.”
