Well being is wealth! Elizabeth Chambers sat down with ET to disclose her non-toxic self-care rituals for the season 1 finale of Investigation Discovery’s docuseries, Poisonous.
The journalist, 42, wished to assist survivors after experiencing her personal trauma following her divorce from ex-husband, Armie Hammer, in 2020 when she found allegations about his sexual conduct.
“I can’t say enough about the process and the level of pride and joy I feel watching this show tremendously impact and positively affect so many people,” Chambers shares.
Along with counseling these affected by unhealthy relationship dynamics, the mother of two prioritizes her private wellness routine.
“I try to do my best in all that I do, and that includes self-care. I’m a big believer in the oxygen mask theory. I take better care of my children and those around me when I am my healthiest and my best,” she explains.
Her high suggestions: “Therapy with the right therapist, journaling, and when in doubt, walking it out. … In a dream world, I would walk 4-5 miles a day and spend at least an hour weightlifting with my trainer, Kirsten Stallone.”
And if you happen to’re trying to take it up a notch, Chambers follows a singular schedule.
“I drink hot water with lemon, followed by organic celery juice, and then GT Dave’s Trilogy Kombucha before 8 a.m.,” the model spills.
“I really like a face freeze, the place I submerge my face in a bowl of ice-cold water for 15 seconds, 3 instances, adopted by a full hair dip if it is a hair wash day. It wakes you up, reduces irritation, and closes the hair follicle to make it further shiny as an added welcome bonus,” she continues.
The BIRD Bakery owner also makes sure to maintain a healthy diet — complete with a side of dessert.
“I really like all the pieces that we make at BIRD bakery and positively take pleasure in my sugar. I attempt to eat all the pieces moderately, however I am sort 0 blood sort, so I really like my protein. … If I will eat 9 cupcakes in a day, a protein base is essential,” she notes.
These practices help Chambers feel like her ultimate best self and ready to take on anything.
“Self-assurance is useful in avoiding poisonous dynamics, however I believe life expertise, doing the work, and setting boundaries are additionally essential to avoiding toxicity.
