A Florida lady is going through a number of costs stemming from her alleged assault on a 72-year-old man who was carrying a “Make America Great Again” hat earlier this week.
Laura Garrett, 33, was arrested by the Largo Police Division on Tuesday for battery on an individual older than 65, battery on a police officer and obstructing or resisting an officer with out violence, in keeping with Pinellas County Jail information.
Garrett admitted she approached the person – who has not been publicly recognized – at Northeast Park and Paw Place to ask him about President Donald Trump and why he helps him, in keeping with an arrest affidavit obtained by FOX 13 Tampa Bay.
