On Tuesday, the Pac-12 and the Gonzaga Bulldogs introduced their new partnership.
Gonzaga is the eighth staff within the convention and can be part of the convention efficient July 1, 2026, with competitors starting for all convention sports activities sponsored by the college within the 2026-27 educational 12 months.

Previous to all of the current additions, Oregon State and Washington State have been the one two groups within the Pac-12 after the mass exodus following final season.

“Today represents an exciting milestone for the Pac-12 as we welcome another outstanding institution with a rich history of success into our league,” Gould added.
The addition of Gonzaga makes the Pac-12 poised to compete on the highest ranges of basketball. Over the past 5 seasons, Gonzaga boasts a 286-44 (86.7 profitable proportion) mixed document in girls’s and males’s basketball.

“We are excited to join a conference with great tradition and a commitment to innovating during this evolving time in collegiate athletics. I’d like to thank Commissioner Teresa Gould for her leadership as these talks progressed earnestly over the weekend, our alignment became evident, and our vision shared,” Standiford continued.
The Pac-12 will proceed to look to develop as they get better from the fallout of USC and UCLA, amongst different universities, leaving the convention.
