Gisele Bündchen and Joaquim Valente are going robust. A supply tells ET that the couple — who was first romantically linked in February — has been “getting more serious” in latest weeks.
“Her friends could see this being a lasting relationship,” the supply says of the 44-year-old mannequin, who cut up from Tom Brady in October 2022.
As for a way her ex — with whom she shares Benjamin, 14, and Vivian, 11 — feels concerning the romance, the supply says that “Tom just wants things to be cordial and respectful between him and Joaquim.”
“He’s enjoying his own life and dating around,” the supply provides of the 47-year-old retired NFL star.
A separate supply informed ET in February that Bündchen and Valente’s relationship had turned romantic.
“Gisele trusts Joaquim because they had a solid foundation before things turned romantic,” the supply mentioned of the mother of two and her former jiu-jitsu teacher. “He has been there for her as she transitions through this new phase of life post-divorce and it’s been a really nice change for her.”
The supply famous that Bündchen and Valente “have a lot of fun together,” including that they “connect on a deep level and are both into wellness, being active, and traveling.”
Bündchen went on to deny that she cheated on Brady with Valente. Shortly thereafter, Bündchen was lower than amused by the jokes that had been made about her new relationship throughout Brady’s Netflix roast in Might.
“Gisele was upset and hurt by some of the jokes about her, her relationship with [boyfriend] Joaquim [Valente], and her marriage to Tom during his roast,” a supply informed ET on the time. “Her main concern is always her children and family and she wants to protect them. She found some of the jokes to be distasteful and disrespectful.”
Within the wake of these feelings, a supply informed ET that “Joaquim has been there for Gisele and they have a nice, supportive relationship.”
“Gisele is still taking things one day at a time and is protective of herself and her well-being, and more importantly, her kids’ well-being,” the supply mentioned. “She is trying to be thoughtful when navigating next steps and is continuing to appreciate the loving relationship in front of her.”
The duo was then noticed displaying PDA in June, which marked their first sighting in months.
