The incursion started after the Israeli navy launched airstrikes on central Beirut on Sunday, marking the primary time within the year-long warfare that the central a part of the Lebanese capital was focused.

“I’m more aware [of Israel’s plan] than you might know, and I’m comfortable with them stopping,” Biden instructed reporters earlier than the incursion began.

Earlier on Monday, the IDF issued an ominous warning to Hezbollah in an X publish.
