The New York State Division of Corrections and Neighborhood Supervision (DOCCS) introduced that the Collins Correctional Facility in Erie County was positioned on lockdown following an early morning incident on Wednesday, the Albany Instances Union reported.
The incident occurred round 1 a.m. when three dorms have been taken over by inmates and the employees have been eliminated, a union rep for the New York State Correctional Officers and Police Benevolent Affiliation informed the outlet.
