Once again, the PlayStation Plus lineup has leaked online.
The three games Sony is giving away to PS Plus subscribers next month is actually pretty good, too! That’s a nice change from quite a few fairly lackluster offerings lately.
See the free games for November here. These will be available until Monday the 6th.
In any case, this is a very action RPG-heavy month, so buckle up that buckler and grab a blade.
Here are all three leaked games—via Dealabs—for December, 2021.
Godfall: Challenger Edition (PS4 & PS5)
This has gotten middling reviews. I still haven’t gotten around to playing it but I’ll give it a swing when it hits PlayStation Plus next month.
Basically it’s a fantasy combat game developed by Counterplay Games and published by Borderlands maker Gearbox Studios. Heavy on loot, lots of hack-and-slash gameplay, cool armor sets and so forth.
Mortal Shell (PS4)
Interestingly, this game has also just been added to Xbox Game Pass, so subscribers on that platform (Ultimate gets you PC games, too) and PlayStation Plus will have access to this absolutely fantastic “Souls-like” from Cold Symmetry and PlayStack.
Seriously, this is one of the few Dark Souls-inspired games that really gets it right. The darkness, the moodiness of a Souls game as well as the unforgiving combat.
It has plenty of its own takes on the genre, including the titular “shells” and it’s something everyone who likes a little challenge should play.
Do you ever just feel like being the bad guy sometimes? LEGO DC Super-Villains has you covered. Become the villain, unleash your mischief-making inner demon and do it all with LEGO’s unique brand of humor. This one has reviewed quite well, and while it is a few years old it’s exactly the right kind of game for PS Plus. Also, play couch-cop in split-screen with a friend or family member.
Obviously these are leaks so take them with a grain of salt, but the leaker in question has provided accurate leaked PS Plus titles before, so there’s a solid chance these are the real deal.
