Every single song matters. I cut everything from the album that didn’t feel like it had a valid reason to be on it,” he shares.
The rationale behind this strategy: “An album is more than just a collection of songs, it is more so an experience that you listen to front to back, that really takes you on a journey where you have the feeling that the artist thought about every second of this album and not just the two hits on it,” he says.
